Cindy Bong read law in the University of Reading and graduated with Honours in 2012. She then did her Bar Professional Training Course in London and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2013 as Barister-at-Law of Lincoln's Inn. With great interest in furthering her education, she further pursued a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science in MSc Law and Accounting in 2014. Upon completing her studies, she did her pupillage at the esteem Messrs Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill and commenced practice with the same.

Throughout her practice she has assisted in many benchmark tax litigations in the country. Amongst others, her area of practice covers direct tax and indirect tax matters. Her main experience includes tax advisory, tax planning and tax litigation. She has also represented many multinational corporations and governmentlinked corporations in tax disputes and has represented these corporations in negotiations with the Inland Revenue Board.

Cindy has also contributed to the Tax Guardian of Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia's publication and the 5th edition of The Private Wealth & Private Client Review in the United Kingdom.

Later, she embarked and continued her legal journey with Messrs T.Kumar, Maxx Hii and Taufik with a more expanded area of practices into property and commercial conveyancing, including loan, finances, corporate agreement and civil litigations.
